GS Engineering and Construction announced on the 5th that its 'Xi' brand magazine 'BEYOND A.' won two institutional sector awards, known as Winners, at the world's most prestigious international design award, the iF Design Award 2025.
According to the judging results of the 'iF Design Award 2025', the 'BEYOND A.' website, a brand magazine of Xi, won the Winner award in the user interface (UI) institutional sector, while the 'BEYOND A.' brand book received the Winner award in the communication institutional sector.
The 'BEYOND A.' website, which won in the user interface (UI) institutional sector, became the first content platform among domestic construction companies to win a design award.
The 'BEYOND A.' magazine, which won in the UI institutional sector, is the first web-based magazine in the construction industry to focus on the lifestyle of residents, publishing weekly newsletters since January 2021. It provides various content featuring interviews that highlight the lifestyles of Xi residents and serves as a medium for communication between the brand and its customers. It is characterized by capturing the preferences of residents and discussions about products through engaging videos, images, and text.
The brand book 'BEYOND A.', which compiled digital content and was published last year, won a communication institutional sector award at the 'iF Design Award 2025.' The brand book enriches brand value by encapsulating vivid, digitized information in the analog feel of paper, focusing on the design philosophy of Xi apartments and resident interviews.
Meanwhile, the 'iF Design Award' is regarded as the highest honor in the design field, initiated in 1953 by the International Forum in Germany, and is considered one of the three major design awards in the world along with Germany's 'Red Dot Design Award' and the 'IDEA' in the United States. In this 'iF Design Award 2025', about 10,000 submissions from 66 countries competed, and winners were selected based on a comprehensive evaluation of design distinctiveness and impact across nine institutional sectors, including product, communication, UX, UI, and service design.
