BS Group announced on the 27th that it signed a 'Memorandum of Understanding for Attracting Foreign Educational Institutions in Solar Cido' with Jeollanam-do, Haenam County, and Redlands Christian School (RCS) at the RCS Media Center in California on the 25th.

It is expected that the value of Solar Cido as an education-specialized residential area with an international-level educational environment will be further highlighted through this memorandum of understanding. RCS, a prestigious private school in the United States with a 100-year tradition, has promised mutual cooperation in establishing and operating an international school within Solar Cido. Currently, BS Group is actively attracting additional establishment of private schools domestically and internationally, in addition to the memorandum of understanding signed with RCS.

As the educational infrastructure of Solar Cido is established, the development of the Solar Cido residential complex is also expected to accelerate. BS Group is pushing to supply approximately 1,200 housing units in the second half of this year in Solar Cido. Furthermore, plans are underway to introduce a large-scale residential town that will include about 4,200 housing units in a complex resort-style layout.

The Solar Cido residential area is reviewing residential specialized products and new brands that reflect the concept of 'the first in the country, wellness life,' which incorporates leisure, recreation, global education, and resort-style design. Plans are in place to actively discover demand through preliminary demand surveys during the first half of the year.

A BS Group official noted, 'Solar Cido has already completed the infrastructure that enhances life satisfaction, including leisure and recreational facilities such as Solar Cido CC, along with the opening of the first garden-style botanical garden in Jeollanam-do called San-i Garden last May, and has successfully attracted an international school.'

Meanwhile, Solar Cido, which BS Group is developing into a large-scale public-private partnership eco-friendly future city on approximately 20.9 million square meters (6.32 million pyong) of land in Haenam County, Jeollanam-do, aims to be a ▲renewable energy city ▲smart city ▲garden city ▲wellness city. In addition to over 10 government-funded projects, including the smart city construction project and the carbon-neutral education center that are currently underway in Solar Cido, an area planned for an AI data center park based on abundant renewable energy has been designated as a government opportunity development special zone.
