On the 19th, YIDO, a specialized corporation in value-up platforms, announced that it will operate 'Club D The Players' (formerly The Players GC), a 27-hole public golf course located in Chuncheon, Gangwon Province.
Club D (CLUBD) is a leisure and entertainment brand operated by YIDO. Club D The Players is a premium public golf course that opened in 2013, covering an area of 1.69 million square meters (approximately 52 acres) and consisting of 27 holes.
It features three courses: Valley, Lake, and Mountain, each reflecting its respective characteristics. By maximizing the geographical conditions, such as primitive forests and majestic rocks, it has gained popularity among intermediate and advanced golfers.
Club D The Players was selected as one of 'Korea's Top 10 New Courses' in 2014, 'Korea's Best New Courses' from 2014 to 2015, and 'Korea's Top 10 Public Courses' in 2016 and 2018. It is conveniently located about 1 hour from downtown Seoul and approximately 10 minutes from Namchuncheon IC.
With this operation, YIDO will now own and manage a total of 126 holes across five golf courses, including Club D The Players (27 holes), Jeonbuk Club D Geumgang (18 holes), Chungbuk Club D Boeun (18 holes), Gyeongnam Club D Geochang (27 holes), and Incheon Dream Park CC (36 holes).
YIDO is also currently operating 'Club D Cheongdam' in Gangnam, Seoul, where the 'Full Swing', the official simulator of the TGL golf tour based on new technologies co-created by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy, is installed for the first time in South Korea.
