Jeong Won-joo, chairman of Daewoo E&C, was elected as the new president of the Korea Construction Management Association.
The Korea Construction Management Association held its '2025 fiscal year regular general meeting' on the 19th at the Lotte Hotel in Jung-gu, Seoul, and unanimously elected Chairman Jeong as the new chairperson, as noted by the association. Chairman Jeong's term lasts until February 2028.
Chairman Jeong said, "Taking on this responsibility during a time of recession in both domestic and international construction markets is a heavy burden," but added, "I will do my best to solve the various problems faced by the construction industry and achieve a new leap forward."
The Korea Construction Management Association has 26 major domestic construction companies as members and was established in 1992.
