DL E&C announced on the 14th that it held the 'Zero Major Accident Declaration Ceremony' at its headquarters in D Tower, Donuimun, Jongno-gu, Seoul to achieve its management goal of prioritizing safety.
The ceremony was attended by Lee Gil-po, Chief Safety Officer (CSO), as well as executives and Head of Team from the safety and health department, along with site managers, project administrators, and safety and health managers.
To achieve the goal of 'Zero Major Accident by 2025,' DL E&C set detailed goals such as ▲working according to the manual and providing feedback ▲absolutely prohibiting unplanned arbitrary work ▲strengthening safety activities for partners and workers. Based on this, it has decided to establish detailed implementation plans for focused safety management at each site and to conduct its own safety seminars to improve the safety management system at each site.
Additionally, DL E&C plans to expand the application of a unified smart safety monitoring platform at the site, including real-time worker location tracking using closed-circuit television (CCTV), body cameras, safety beepers, and an artificial intelligence (AI) translation system to enhance communication with foreign workers.
During the ceremony, CSO Lee emphasized, 'Zero Major Accident is our top priority, with no room for disagreement, and it can never be achieved unless every employee, partner, and worker makes an effort,' adding, 'Let's rigorously carry out what has been promised regarding safety to achieve the 2025 safety goals.'
