Around 630,000 people flocked to the 'Hillstate Sejong River Park' no-application apartment in the Sodom-dong area of Sejong City, where a price difference of up to 400 million won is expected.
According to the Korea Real Estate Board on the 7th, 628,746 people applied for the recruitment of 2 units in Block H4 of Hillstate Sejong River Park.
This no-application recruitment was conducted for one unit each of 84 square meters and 105 square meters. The number of applicants for the 84 square meters was 337,709, while 291,037 applied for the 105 square meters.
On the previous day, 568,735 people applied for one unit of the no-application 84 square meters in the same apartment H3 block. Approximately 1.2 million people flocked to the no-application recruitment held in this apartment complex over two days.
The large number of applicants for this no-application recruitment is due to the expectation of a price difference of 300 million to 400 million won, as it can be purchased at the price when it was supplied in 2017. The selling price for the 84 square meters in this recruitment is between 300.2 million and 321.0 million won, while the 105 square meters is priced at 399.9 million won. As of the end of last year, the 84 square meters in this complex were traded at 600 million to 700 million won.
It is also noted that the changing qualification requirements for no-application recruitment this month practically made this the last opportunity for a 'lottery application.' No-application recruitment can be applied for by anyone aged 19 or older residing in the country, regardless of subscription to a application account, residential area, or number of dwellings owned. The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport has announced that it will reform the no-application recruitment system to focus on non-homeowners due to its overheating.
