Doosan Construction announced on the 26th that it proposed a construction cost of 6.3 million won per 3.3㎡ (1 pyeong) along with the application of a high-end brand for the reconstruction maintenance project of the Bank Jeonggok Apartment in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province.
The high-end residential brand proposed by Doosan Construction, "The Zenith," has been applied to representative complexes in various regions, including "Haeundae Doosan Weve The Zenith" and "Daegu Doosan Weve The Zenith." Specialized designs and premium finishing materials will be applied both inside and outside the buildings in accordance with the high-end brand.
It also proposed a construction cost of 6.35 million won per pyeong. It stated that it will not reflect inflation for two years from the contract date and that the construction cost will be fixed after actual construction begins. The proposed construction period is 51 months.
The Bank Jeonggok Apartment in Seongnam has a maximum elevation difference of 57 meters within the complex, and the construction of a sky bridge over 500 tons is planned, which will inevitably lengthen the construction period compared to typical complexes; however, Doosan Construction explained that it would do its best to shorten this period.
The reconstruction of the Bank Jeonggok Apartment in Seongnam is a project to create a total of 3,198 units in the area of 550 Bank-dong, Jungwon-gu, Seongnam City. Doosan Construction and POSCO Engineering & Construction are competing for the bid.
Previously, POSCO Engineering & Construction proposed a construction cost of 6.98 million won per pyeong, and set the assembly project budget limit to 890 billion won, offering to secure 240 billion won of this amount interest-free to reduce the financial burden on the assembly.
It also suggested the complex name "The Shop Master View" and proposed specialized designs that implement the elevation difference of the complex as a gentle slope called "Grand Slope."
The assembly plans to hold an extraordinary general meeting on the 16th of next month to select a construction company.
