HDC Hyundai Development Company announced on the 21st that it conducted a specialized course for safety managers on safety and health systems and disaster prevention at Bloomvista in Yangpyeong-gun, Gyeonggi Province, on the 20th.
This specialized course is part of the 4th training of the "HDC Safety-I Academy" and will proceed with a tailored curriculum to enhance the safety and health operational capabilities of 1,400 individuals, including safety managers, executives, site managers, supervisors, and representatives and safety personnel from partner companies.
HDC Safety-I Academy consists of ▲safety management ▲leadership ▲safety capability enhancement ▲specialized safety and health courses. Starting this year, it has newly expanded and reorganized the in-house professional instructor training program and the partner company STEP-UP win-win training program.
HDC Hyundai Development Company plans to nurture in-house instructors who possess expertise and practical experience through the introduction of an in-house professional instructor training program from this year and to establish a self-education system within the organization.
The training target, which was previously limited to the representatives and safety personnel of existing partner companies, will be expanded to include the Safety Quality Committee, headquarters personnel, and foreign workers to provide opportunities for safety acquisition through win-win safety education.
Eo Seong-won, head of the Safety Environment Planning Team at HDC Hyundai Development Company, said, "All stakeholders will take the lead in fostering safety awareness and preventing industrial accidents through ongoing education."
In addition, the specialized safety and health course will be conducted over a total of 14 sessions for approximately 900 individuals, including safety and health managers and supervisors at the site. Training on safety management will also be provided for executives and heads of teams on topics such as ▲safety management ▲Industrial Safety and Health Act ▲Severe Accident Punishment Act. Furthermore, training will also be conducted for site managers on understanding and operating safety and health management systems, as well as the roles of leaders at each establishment.
