POSCO Engineering & Construction announced on the 17th that it will hold a 'The Sharp & Duycon Collaboration Exhibition' at 'The Sharp Gallery' on the theme of the combination of digital art and science technology until next month, the 2nd.
POSCO Engineering & Construction and the metaverse space platform company 'Duycon' will convey the importance of relaxation and mental recovery in daily life through this exhibition and emotional space.
This exhibition will feature artist O Ji-yoon, who is gaining attention in the European art world for her original works, and Nancy Lang, an artist and broadcaster known as a walking pop artist.
'The Sharp & Duycon Collaboration Exhibition' will provide a new standard of contemporary art by utilizing media art and digital twin technology on the 2nd and 4th floors of The Sharp Gallery.
On the 2nd floor of The Sharp Gallery, Nancy Lang has created a hopeful message conveyed through a work themed 'Taboo Yogini,' which represents a guardian deity that fulfills dreams in celebration of the new year. On the 4th floor, artist O Ji-yoon, who was selected as the official artist for the 60th National Pavilion at the Venice Biennale last year, will present a sophisticated and modern exhibition that emphasizes the fusion of technology and art. O Ji-yoon plans to add the digital art genre to her representative series 'The Sea That Never Sets.'
Visitors to the exhibition can enjoy experiences based on nature themes in the 'Healing Forest' on the 4th floor of The Sharp Gallery, along with signature coffee and tea developed to reflect the sentiments of POSCO Engineering & Construction's brands, 'The Sharp' and 'OTIER.'
