The reconstruction briefing for the 'Mokdong New Town 7th Complex' (Mokdong 7 Complex), considered a leading project in Mokdong, Yangcheon District, will be held on the 18th. Former chairman Han Hyung-gi and reconstruction experts, including those from Kyobo Asset Trust, are expected to give lectures to the residents of the complex.
According to the real estate industry on the 13th, the Mokdong 7 Complex Reconstruction Preparatory Committee will hold a briefing on 'Progress Report on the Designation of the Mokdong 7 Complex Maintenance Zone and Comparison of Advantages and Disadvantages of the Association and Trust Method' at the Hanuri Hall on the 2nd floor of Yangcheon Hanuri Town on the 18th.
After the project briefing, the Mokdong 7 Complex Reconstruction Preparatory Committee plans to conduct a voting process for all owners of the 7 Complex.
The briefing will begin with a progress report on the maintenance zone designation by BM City Architecture Office, followed by an explanation from Kyobo Asset Trust regarding the trust method of reconstruction. Former chairman Han Hyung-gi of the Acro River Park Association will then describe the advantages of the association method, and attorney Lee Jae-hyun from YoonKang Law Firm will make a grants to discuss comparative analysis of each business method and their pros and cons.
Jiseong-jin, chairman of the Mokdong 7 Complex Reconstruction Preparatory Committee, noted, "Deciding on the business method is a very important issue in the reconstruction project, which is why we prepared a briefing on the business methods again this year following last year," adding, "We aim to enhance the residents' understanding through detailed explanations of each business method before the voting, assisting in the decision-making process."
Mokdong 7 Complex completed the relevant procedures for the designation of government zones by the Seoul City after submitting the maintenance plan through the fast-track integrated planning in June of last year. On the 24th, it will enter the public review process for the maintenance zone designation and the maintenance plan. The goal is to announce the maintenance zone designation by the first half of this year after listening to district council opinions and going through Seoul City reviews.
Once the reconstruction of all the complexes from the Mokdong New Town 1st to 14th is completed, the area is expected to transform from the existing 26,500 households into a mini new city with approximately 53,000 households.
Looking at the progress of the Mokdong New Town maintenance zone, Mokdong 6 Complex, designated as the first maintenance zone among the 14 complexes, is currently doing well through the association establishment system. Mokdong 8, 12, 13, and 14 complexes have completed reviews by the Urban Planning Committee. Meanwhile, the 1st to 3rd complexes, previously categorized as a 2nd general residential area, are accelerating their reconstruction process as they have been upgraded to a 3rd general residential area with the condition of creating an open space park (Mokdong Greenway).
