Shindongah Construction, which applied for court receivership (court corporate rehabilitation procedures), has canceled the recruitment of apartments for the 'Gumdan New Town Familier Elip.' On the 8th, the recruitment homepage for the Gumdan New Town Familier Elip stated, “The recruitment notice is canceled due to the circumstances of the project entity,” and requested “understanding from the application applicants.”

The apartments were scheduled to announce winners after receiving first priority applications on the 31st of last month and second priority applications on the 2nd of this month. However, the planned promotion of the sale became impossible when Shindongah Construction, which is overseeing the project and construction, recently applied for corporate rehabilitation procedures (court receivership) with the court. The complex did not fill the number of applicants even for the second priority.

Applicants for the Gumdan New Town Familier Elip will not be managed as winners and can reuse their application accounts. According to Article 57, Clause 4 of the Rules on Housing Supply, if a project entity becomes unable to provide housing due to bankruptcy or cancellation of occupant recruitment approval, they will not be considered winners.

Meanwhile, Moa General Construction and Shindongah Construction, which are jointly undertaking the project and construction of 'Godeok International New Town Future Familier,' stated, “Regardless of Shindongah Construction's court receivership, Moa General Construction will carry out the project without any disruption until completion (occupation),” adding, “We plan to proceed with occupancy as scheduled in September.”
