Taeyoung Construction announced on the 23rd that it has been selected as the construction contractor for the dwellings redevelopment maintenance project in the Jangam 6 district of Uijeongbu City, Gyeonggi Province. This is the first urban maintenance project it has secured since its workout.

The Jangam 6 district dwellings redevelopment maintenance project involves the construction of six buildings with underground levels 2 to above ground 28, consisting of 392 residential units and associated welfare facilities at the site located at 351-8, Singok-dong, Uijeongbu City, Gyeonggi Province. The construction cost is approximately 128 billion won.

The Jangam 6 district is conveniently located near Uijeongbu Station on Line 1, Uijeongbu IC, and Dong Uijeongbu IC, providing an efficient transportation network. In particular, Uijeongbu Station on Line 1 is set to open a section of the Metropolitan Rapid Transit (GTX)-C line. Within a 1 km radius, primary, middle, and high schools are all located, enabling students to walk to school, and the area is enriched with green spaces such as Uijeongbu Rodeo Street, Shinsegae Department Store, and Budang Neighborhood Park, Chudong Neighborhood Park.

A Taeyoung Construction official noted, “We will develop the Uijeongbu Jangam 6 district dwellings redevelopment maintenance project into a landmark complex representing the area through rapid project promotion and differentiated construction.”
