Korea Land Trust (HanToSin) held a board meeting on the 18th and announced the appointment of Kim Sung-jin as the new president.
HanToSin plans to appoint Kim Sung-jin as the CEO after the shareholders' meeting in March next year.
Newly appointed president Kim Sung-jin graduated from Daegu Kyungshin High School and Korea University School of Law. He is recognized for his contributions to the company’s growth, having been a founding member of HanToSin and having worked there for about 25 years. Kim has served in various roles at HanToSin, including Head of Team, executive director, and senior executive director, and in 2021, he held the position of vice president.
Kim has extensive experience in land trust, REITs, and various support tasks such as auditing, personnel, and project evaluation, contributing to the company's achievement of its order goals and system enhancement. Following this, he served as vice president at Coreate Asset Management, overseeing the discovery and management of financial investment products.
In the regular personnel reshuffle conducted on the 16th, Jeong Myung-ryang, head of the urban and support department, was promoted to vice president. Sim Chang-woo, head of the strategic business division, and Kim Chi-wan, head of the REITs business division, as well as Bae Hyo-jin, head of the urban regeneration division 2, were promoted to senior executive directors.
A HanToSin official noted, "We will seek both quantitative and qualitative expansion of orders through urban renewal and the expansion of the REITs business" and added, "We will prepare to solidify our leading position as we enter an upturn in the real estate market."
