People Power Party floor leader Jeong Jeom-sik wrote on Facebook on the 13th, "Will a quick cutoff now fix anything for the Democratic Party of Korea, which nominated lawmaker Yong Hye-in twice?"
Jeong, the floor leader, said, "Lawmaker Yong Hye-in received nominations twice in a row from a satellite party of the Democratic Party of Korea," adding, "She was elected to the National Assembly twice in a row not as a Basic Income Party candidate but effectively as a Democratic Party of Korea candidate."
He went on, "None of our people ever voted for the Basic Income Party, yet the Basic Income Party entered the legislature two times in a row." He added, "These astonishing privileges and unfairness that lawmaker Yong Hye-in enjoyed were provided by the Democratic Party of Korea."
Jeong, the floor leader, said, "In particular, Yong Hye-in's second nomination was led by President Lee Jae-myung, who was the party leader at the time," adding, "President Lee Jae-myung and the Democratic Party should conduct a responsible self-reflection and offer an apology for having made the Basic Income Party a parliamentary party two times in a row."
