On the 7th, the president will attend the Lumière Summit held in Saint-Paul-de-Vence near Nice in southern France as a co-chair alongside French President Emmanuel Macron.
About 150 people, including executives in the film, broadcasting, video, and gaming industries, policymakers, politicians, and figures from the cultural and arts sectors from more than 30 countries, will attend this year's summit.
Key agenda items include the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on the content industry, media education, and the industry's revenue models. Participants are expected to discuss the changes facing the content industry and ways to respond.
The Blue House expects the president's participation as co-chair to expand cultural exchanges with France and European countries and to support the overseas expansion of K-content.
After finishing the Lumière Summit schedule, the president will continue the state visit schedule in Paris starting on the 8th.
The president will have a private luncheon and a summit with President Macron and is also scheduled to attend a business roundtable with participation from corporations of both countries.
