On the 30th, in remarks on the nomination released through the Ministry of Finance and Economy Spokesperson's Office, the nominee said, "I feel an immense sense of responsibility at being nominated as the second deputy prime minister after the launch of the Lee Jae-myung administration," adding the above. He also said, "I will keep the growth momentum our economy has achieved over the past 1 year and 3 months more solidly."
At the same time, the nominee said, "We also plan to do our utmost so that the warmth of growth spreads evenly to all people, and, based on the policy capacity secured by the semiconductor boom and more, we will make our best policy efforts to take care of people's livelihoods, including overcoming polarization."
