President Lee Jae-myung will invite the new leadership of the Democratic Party of Korea to the Blue House for a dinner on the 25th.
Chief Presidential Spokesperson Kang Yu-jung stated accordingly in a notice on the evening of the 21st.
Kang, the chief spokesperson, said, "Kim Min-seok, the party leader, and Han Byeong-do, the floor leader, along with Supreme Council members and key party officials, will attend."
Earlier, on the 19th, the day after the Democratic Party convention, President Lee invited to the Blue House for dinner Kim, who ran in the party leader election, former leader Jung Chung-rae, and lawmaker Song Young-gil.
In Aug. last year, President Lee also invited former leader Jung and others to the Hannam-dong residence for a dinner meeting after the new Democratic Party leadership was formed.
