On Facebook that day, lawmaker Han posted an article titled "Do not step into the swamp of the constitutional amendment frame initiated by President Lee Jae-myung," and said, "This is the constitutional amendment blocking line the people have struggled to protect. The last line of public sentiment was to stop Lee Jae-myung–initiated attempts to amend the Constitution," adding, "Now is the time to follow that public sentiment."
Han said, "Even if, by any chance, President Lee Jae-myung were to set 'conditions' such as not including constitutional clauses to resolve his legal risks during the amendment talks or not seeking reelection, one cannot trust 'the words of Lee Jae-myung's Democratic Party,' which forced two other supreme council candidates to step down for Kim Yong, effectively Lee Jae-myung's accomplice."
He added, "We must not step into the swamp of the Lee Jae-myung–initiated constitutional amendment frame, even conditionally," saying, "because it would cover up the misrule of the Lee Jae-myung Democratic Party administration and sink Korea into a swamp."
