If it is not collected within the one-year statute of limitations, it is recovered to the fund. As of the end of last year, unclaimed prize money accumulated in this way reached 58.1 billion won.
According to the Lottery Commission, after purchasing a physical ticket, you can scan the QR code with Payco to register it and find out whether it won. Also, on the day before the statute of limitations is complete, you can receive unclaimed prize money automatically as app points or to a linked account.
In addition, real-time business information for more than 9,500 Lotto retailers nationwide will be available on Naver Map and Kakao Map.
