Lee said in a post on his social media (SNS) X (formerly Twitter) account on the 27th, "I am deeply saddened to hear that the ongoing wildfires in France and Spain are causing major damage," delivering this message.
Lee went on, "I pay my respects to the rescuers and officials who are devoted to firefighting and rescue operations," adding, "I hope the fires are contained as soon as possible so there is no further damage, and I pray you can return to daily life."
Meanwhile, according to Reuters and AFP, wildfires that broke out across southwestern France and the Madrid region of Spain are spreading quickly. On the 25th (local time), more than 300,000 residents reportedly evacuated in an emergency.
