After finishing his schedule in the United States and while en route to Brazil that day, the president posted on his X (formerly Twitter) account, noting the police's results in cracking down on ghost cars.
The article the president shared said police uncovered 1,928 illegally operated vehicles and arrested 380 people through a focused five-month crackdown on ghost cars in the first half of the year.
The president said, "Thank you and I support you," adding, "I hope you will also ease the public's concerns through swift and thorough crackdowns on other crimes that harm people's livelihoods."
Meanwhile, the president is touring five countries in the United States, South America, and Germany on a 7-night, 11-day itinerary. On the day, he held a meetup with venture capital (VC) firms active in Silicon Valley, and he is wrapping up his U.S. schedule and heading to Brazil, the second stop on his trip.
