As of 9 a.m. on the 30th, the second day of early voting for the 9th nationwide local elections held simultaneously and the National Assembly by-elections, the national average turnout was tallied at 13.35%.
According to the National Election Commission, as of 9 a.m., 5,959,952 out of a total of 44,649,908 eligible voters had finished early voting.
This is 1.54 percentage points higher than the turnout at the same time on the second day of early voting for the 8th nationwide local elections held in 2022 (11.81%).
Early voting began at 6 a.m. the previous day and will run at polling stations nationwide until 6 p.m. today.
Voters who bring a photo ID, such as a resident registration card, driver's license, or passport, can vote at any early voting station nationwide regardless of their registered address.
Mobile IDs can also be used, but identity must be verified through the application, and captured images are not accepted as IDs.
