Jung Chung-rae of the Democratic Party of Korea said, "The People Power Party's election committee is an 'omu (5 nos)' committee," criticizing that it "has no policies, no vision, no figures, no communication, and no conscience."
On the morning of the 15th, at a meeting of the election committee held at the campaign office of Democratic Party candidate for Jeju governor Wi Seong-gon in Ora-dong, Jeju City, Jung said, "The People Power Party launched an election committee to block the cancellation of the indictment, putting Representative Jang Dong-hyeok at the forefront," and added, "Its nominations are a 'Yoon Again' revival, and its campaign is plastered with negatives and blame-shifting."
He went on, "At least during the campaign period, voters would want to look for Korea's future vision, our region's development policies, and livelihood pledges that help my life to feel the reality of politics, but does the party not know what voters want?"
Jung said, "Some say things like 'the opposition is blessed' and 'Representative Jang Dong-hyeok is a strategic asset for the Democratic Party,' but I am embarrassed," adding, "Only when the opposition is healthy can the ruling party first feel a sense of urgency and become healthy."
Jung said, "The People Power Party's election committee has no policies, no vision, no figures, no communication, and no conscience," adding, "A 'Yoon Again' insurrection nomination, defending martial law, defending insurrection, livelihood-stalling negativity, obstinacy, and disregard for voters—this may be how people view the People Power Party."
