The Anti-Corruption & Civil Rights Commission (ACRC) said the previous day that, according to the findings of its task force investigating the "helicopter transfer favor" controversy itself, the past determination of an ethics code violation was inappropriate and that the ACRC secretary-general at the time improperly intervened in the handling of the case. Under the Yoon Suk-yeol administration, the ACRC had released that Seoul National University Hospital and Pusan National University Hospital, among others, violated the public officials' code of conduct during the deployment of emergency medical helicopters.
