Tax Corporation Centric (chief tax accountants Han Seung-hee and Ahn Man-sik) and Law Firm Duhyun (chief attorney Kim Su-kyeong) said on the 8th they will officially launch the non-face-to-face inheritance platform "Help Me Inheritance."
Help Me Inheritance is a platform that provides three services: ▲ simple inheritance ▲ professional inheritance ▲ family business succession. The simple inheritance service allows users to complete inheritance-related contracts on a computer or smartphone and submit related documents to the tax office in a one-stop process. The professional inheritance service advises high-net-worth individuals with asset of 3 billion won or more on lawful tax-saving strategies, and the family business succession service offers such advice to corporate managers.
Help Me Inheritance also provides information on inheritance tax and inheritance law. It shares the latest authoritative interpretations, and forms related to inheritance and gifts such as agreements on division of inherited property, applications to renounce inheritance, applications for family business inheritance deductions, and gift contracts. It also allows users to calculate estimated inheritance tax.
Help Me Inheritance is operated by chief tax accountant Ahn Man-sik, a former National Tax Service private banker, a professor in charge of inheritance and gift tax at the National Tax Officials Training Institute, a former National Tax Service official responsible for inheritance and gift authoritative interpretations, and tax accountants who previously served in the National Tax Service Investigation Bureau.
Meanwhile, according to the National Tax Service, the number of people filing inheritance tax returns increased from 11,521 in 2020 to 20,167 in 2024, doubling in four years.
