The Ministry of Planning and Budget said on the 4th that it introduced a "government-only mobile messenger," the first among government ministries.
According to the Ministry of Planning and Budget, the messenger, implemented on the 30th of last month, has generative artificial intelligence (AI) and a document viewer function.
Existing mobile messengers allowed document viewing, but users could not exchange opinions with supervisors or colleagues through the messenger. However, the new messenger adds a memo feature when viewing documents, enabling users to share opinions with each other.
In addition, in past meetings, users had to record with a separate application and summarize the minutes themselves, but the new messenger adds a recording function. When a meeting ends, it can be shared immediately with other employees in the messenger.
The Ministry of Planning and Budget said, "The reason this messenger can now be used by all employees is that employees at the Ministry of Planning and Budget, who are actual users, tried it themselves during the pilot operation process and took part in improving its functions."
