People Power Party leader Jang Dong-hyeok criticized candidate Chong Won-o's real estate plan, saying, "If Chong Won-o becomes (Seoul) mayor, Seoul residents will be driven out of their own homes."
At the supreme council meeting held at the National Assembly on the morning of the 30th, Jang said, "Chong Won-o's real estate supply plan is a copy of Lee Jae-myung's shoddy policy," adding, "On the truly important issues of raising the property holding tax and abolishing the long-term holding special deduction, he is dodging answers."
Jang said, "There is no sign of a serious plan for jeonse and monthly rent for ordinary people," adding, "The 'My Pick Chong Won-o' will obviously become a 'meme follow.' He will throw a property tax bomb and take the lead in abolishing the long-term holding special deduction."
Jang also criticized Chun Jae-soo, the Democratic Party's candidate for Busan mayor. Jang said, "If Chun Jae-soo were properly investigated for the Unification Church bribery case, he would go to prison even now," adding, "He couldn't even pass the already agreed-upon Busan Global Hub City Special Act, so can he really carry out the HMM transfer to Busan properly? He can't even say a single word that he didn't receive Cartier when asked if he got it."
He continued, "Cancún Chong Won-o and Oh Se-hoon, who gets things done; Cartier Chun Jae-soo and Park Heong-joon, who has been vetted. The answer is already clear."
