People Power Party Seoul mayoral candidate Oh Se-hoon formed a campaign committee centered on citizens. Twelve citizens symbolizing various policies of the Oh administration were placed at the forefront as "citizen co-chairpersons."
On the 28th, candidate Oh launched the "Seoul, the special city for quality of life" campaign committee and began official activities. Unlike typical committees that center on politicians, Oh's committee put citizens at the forefront.
Chairperson Kim Hyun-seop, who lives in Geumcheon District, proved outcomes in self-reliance and household stability through "stepping-stone income" support; Chairperson Kim Jeom-su, who built a foundation for self-reliance through the "humanities of hope" program; Chairperson Lee Yun-hee, who normalized a daycare center that was on the verge of closure; Chairpersons Hong Young-gi and Park Seong-soon, who provide meals to residents of jjokbangchon; Chairperson Hong Min-gi, a young family caregiver who focuses on studies through "stepping-stone income"; and Chairperson Kang Yeon-seon, who is raising four children.
Chairperson Yoon Yeo-jong, a non-major in the IT field, succeeded in getting a job as an IT developer after completing the "youth job boot camp," and a younger brother also succeeded in getting a job through the same process. Chairperson Park Jae-byung, who is leading a "youth startup" after developing a senior total-care platform; Chairperson Kim Mi-jung, who represents the voices of merchants on the "Gwanak District beauty street"; Chairperson Son Myeong-hun, who will represent the voices of college students as an upwardly mobile youth; Chairperson Kim Ji-ung, who formed a family through the city's "more beautiful wedding"; and Chairperson Park Jin-san, a "running crew leader" who will represent Seoul as a city good for running, will also lead the committee as citizen representatives.
Among politicians, lawmaker Park Su-min, who competed in the Seoul mayoral primary, and former innovation Committee Chairperson Yoon Hee-sook were appointed as senior co-chairs of the campaign committee, and lawmaker Cho Eun-hee took the role of chief campaign director.
Oh Se-hoon's "Jumping Up Camp" said, "The citizen co-chairpersons will not remain in honorary posts but will actively speak up to propose policies in each field and show a campaign that meets citizens' expectations."
