President Lee Jae-myung, on a state visit to India, took a commemorative photo with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Samsung Electronics Chairman Lee Jae-yong using a Galaxy phone manufactured in India.
On the 20th (local time), the three met at a luncheon hosted by Prime Minister Modi at Hyderabad House, the Indian state guesthouse, and took a "surprise selfie."
Chairman Lee held the mobile phone himself to take the photo, and President Lee and Prime Minister Modi stood close together, looking at the phone screen and smiling. The phone used for the photo was the Galaxy Z Flip 7 model produced at the Noida plant in India.
Samsung Electronics announced the news on social media (SNS), saying, "Samsung has produced mobile phones in Noida since 1996, and all flagship and budget models, including foldables, are produced at the Noida plant in India."
