The Ministry of Personnel Management said on the 13th that the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Resources appointed former Hanwha Solutions executive director Yun Ju-hwan as Director of the Technical Regulation Cooperation Division at the Korean Agency for Technology and Standards. The hire was made through the "Government Private Talent Recruitment Support" (government headhunting), a program in which the Ministry of Personnel Management recommends tailored talent.
The Ministry of Trade and Industry (MOTI) Director of the Technical Regulation Cooperation Division oversees cooperation work such as managing information on domestic and overseas technical regulations and identifying and responding to corporations' difficulties. Director Yun is a hands-on expert with about 25 years of experience spanning solar product planning, technology strategy development, and system development.
Director Yun said, "Based on my expertise and experience, I will identify corporations' difficulties and work closely with related organizations to help resolve unreasonable technical regulations."
