Cheong Wa Dae on the 30th will unveil its official website to mark President Lee Jae-myung's 300th day in office. After the impeachment of former President Yoon Suk-yeol last year and the early presidential election, it had operated a temporary website under the banner of "minimizing administrative gaps," and about 10 months later, it said it will launch and run a new site that embodies the governing philosophy of "realizing popular sovereignty" and "participation and communication."
The new website has opened boards including ▲ "Moments with the president," where users can upload photos taken with the president ▲ "My DIY digital goods," where users can propose digital content such as custom-designed smartphone wallpapers and smartwatch faces ▲ "Empathy policies in everyday life," where users can propose policy ideas. It will be accessible from 11 a.m. that day.
Cheong Wa Dae said, "We expect it will become a section symbolizing 'Cheong Wa Dae made together' by sharing moments of state affairs recorded from the public's perspective," and added, "It will be operated as a communication channel open to everyone so that the public's precious voices can serve as a compass for the Lee Jae-myung administration's governance."
A "pre-disclosure information list" will be newly established to allow users to view lists of information from key departments of Cheong Wa Dae. Cheong Wa Dae also said it has strengthened features that curate by topic schedules for President Lee and first lady Kim Hea-kyung, and built an interface optimized for all digital devices to improve information accessibility.
Cheong Wa Dae said, "Opening the official website this time is a strong expression of our intent to share the achievements of the past 300 days, which we have run without a transition committee (Presidential Transition Committee), with the public, and to design future state affairs together with the public," adding, "True to the name Cheong Wa Dae, we will operate it as a space where the public's voice resonates from the highest place."
