President Lee Jae-myung on the 13th praised Hanwha Group's win-win cooperation measures in public, calling it a "corporations worth emulating."
On X (formerly Twitter) the same day, the president shared a related report, saying, "From withdrawing damages suits over strikes to paying subcontractor workers equal wages, and now to win-win cooperation among related corporations," and wrote, "Hanwha Group's practice of an advanced industrial culture is worth emulating."
He added, "Sustained growth and development are possible only in a vibrant, symbiotic industrial ecosystem," and "I am pleased to see the seeds that will enable the continued, mutually beneficial development of Korea's economy and industry. Thank you."
Earlier, Hanwha Aerospace held the "2026 win-win cooperation declaration ceremony" at the Changwon Plant 3 R&D Center on the 3rd and announced policies in the defense industry sector, including ▲ introduction of a system to share innovation outcomes between large corporations and small and midsize companies ▲ expansion of the win-win cooperation fund ▲ strengthening partner research and development. It also noted a commitment to join forces with relevant ministries and partners to spread win-win practices.
The president the same day also expressed appreciation while mentioning major conglomerates such as Samsung and LG Group. These corporations decided to pay procurement fees early ahead of the Lunar New Year holiday to support partners' smooth cash management. The president said, "We thank Samsung and LG Group for their efforts to build a win-win ecosystem in the economic and industrial corporations sector," adding, "The grassland must be healthy and the rabbits must live for the tiger to live as well."
