On the 11th, the presidential office said regarding North Korea's claim of "South Korean drone infiltration," "The government once again confirms that it has no intention to provoke or incite the North."
The Office of National Security stated accordingly through a notice that day, "Following the military's initial investigation into this drone matter, the government will identify the facts through a joint military–police investigation and promptly make the results public."
It added, "The government will continue practical measures and efforts to ease tensions between the South and the North and build trust."
The day before, North Korea, through a statement by the Spokesperson of the General Staff of the Korean People's Army, claimed that the South sent drones in September last year and on the 4th. The statement said, "Even after the change of the ruffian regime in Seoul, the South's drone provocations near the border continued."
