Incheon International Airport Corporation (IIAC) said on the 3rd that it signed an agreement with Korea Aerospace University (President Heo Hee-young) to establish and operate a "contract department." Under the agreement, a "aviation management master's and doctoral program" exclusively for IIAC resident employees will be newly established at Korea Aerospace University. Employees in the program will receive practical, job-linked training in areas such as aviation management, logistics, aviation security, and safety.
The annual enrollment for the master's and doctoral programs is about 25. Half of the tuition will be covered by the organization or company the trainee belongs to. President Lee Hak-jae said, "This contract department degree program will help improve the job competencies of airport workers."
