Korea Minting, Security Printing & ID Card Operating Corporation (KOMSCO) said on the 2nd that all 4,000 units of the "2026 MoneyMade premium money calendar," made from banknote by-products, sold out on the day it was released on the 2nd of last month. It said it will hold a second pre-order sale of 4,000 units starting that day.
According to the corporation, the "money calendar" released this time is the corporation's first upcycling calendar made by recycling by-products generated in the banknote manufacturing process.
The corporation said it will begin taking pre-orders for an additional 4,000 units starting that day. There are 2,000 each of the premium wall calendar and desk calendar. Purchases can be made on the corporation's official shopping mall (www.koreamint.com). Prices are 22,000 won for the wall calendar and 18,000 won for the desk calendar. Orders will be shipped sequentially starting on the 24th.
