Incheon International Airport Corporation (IIAC) said on the 26th that it signed a "joint implementation agreement on human rights management" with 10 Incheon Airport cargo terminal operators.
The agreement states that the corporation and the cargo terminal operators will cooperate to build and comply with a human rights management system going forward. It also includes pushing joint campaigns to advance the human rights system and spread a culture of respect for human rights.
Earlier, the corporation signed a "business agreement to spread a human rights management culture at Incheon Airport" with eight resident organizations at the airport in Jun. last year. It expanded and revised this into the "Incheon Airport Integrity and Human Rights Charter" in Sep.
Lee Hak-jae, president of Incheon International Airport Corporation (IIAC), said, "We plan to take the lead in improving the human rights of airport resident employees by continuously expanding a mutual cooperation system with resident organizations and jointly operating human rights respect programs."
