North Korea will attend the Russian Energy Week International Forum (REW) hosted by Russia. It is the second time after 2018.
The Korean Central News Agency reported on the 14th that a delegation led by Power Industry Minister Kim Yu-il as Director General departed to attend the forum on the 13th, the previous day.
REW is an event that discusses current issues related to the development of the fuel and energy institutional sector and the establishment of international relations in the energy field. This year, under the theme of "Creating the energy of the future together," it will be held from the 15th to the 17th at the Manezh Central Exhibition Hall in Moscow and Gostiny Dvor near the Kremlin.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has given a speech at the event's plenary session since 2017. North Korea first took part in the event in 2018. At the time, Power Industry Minister Kim Man-su attended.
