North Korea's state media aired a documentary as soon as Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un completed his schedule in China. It was less than 24 hours since Kim returned to Pyongyang.
Korean Central Television aired a 50-minute documentary titled "Dear Comrade Kim Jong Un's visit to the People's Republic of China to attend the 80th anniversary ceremony of the Chinese People's Anti-Japanese War and the victory of the global anti-fascist war, September 2-4, 2025" at noon on that day.
The film began with Kim Jong Un departing from Pyongyang by private train on the 1st. It provided a detailed introduction to the schedule including attending the 80th anniversary military parade in China on the 3rd, a summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin, and a summit with Chinese President Xi Jinping on the 4th. Scenes of Kim Jong Un engaging in friendly conversation with President Xi and President Putin appeared frequently.
The documentary featured Kim Jong Un's daughter, Ju Ae, who accompanied him on his visit to China. Earlier, North Korea's state media reported only the scenes of Ju Ae arriving at Beijing Station on the 2nd and returning to Pyongyang on the 5th.
The film included a moment when Ju Ae followed closely behind her father as they arrived at the North Korean embassy after being welcomed by the Chinese side at Beijing Station on the 2nd. There was also a scene suggesting that Ju Ae was getting out of the left door of the vehicle while Kim Jong Un exited from the right door, indicating they likely boarded the same vehicle.
The film introduced dignitaries from over 20 countries who participated in the Victory Day celebrations. It did not specifically mention National Assembly Speaker Woo Won-shik. However, the scene of Speaker Woo ascending the Tiananmen Gate to observe the military parade was aired without editing.
