Chairperson Song Eon-seok of the People Power Party said on the 24th regarding the passage of the Yellow Envelope Act in the National Assembly plenary session, "I am outraged along with the people at the behavior of the Democratic Party of Korea that drives excellent technology overseas."
Chairperson Song noted after the plenary session concluded that morning in a meeting with reporters, "If the Yellow Envelope Act, which encourages illegal strikes, is passed, the management of primary corporations will have to negotiate with numerous subcontractor union companies one by one."
He said, "The shipbuilding industry has a level of technology that even makes the United States envious and is a leading industry," adding, "If it has to negotiate with subcontractor unions, the shipbuilding industry will not be able to engage in proper management and investment activities. If that happens, will the world's top technology be able to develop in the future?"
Chairperson Song stated, "Kim Yong-beom, head of the presidential office's policy office, is recklessly saying that it can be revised after trying it out," and added, "After valuable corporations have gone overseas, what attraction will bring them back if the law is revised? I strongly condemn the Lee Jae-myung regime and the Democratic Party of Korea."
