President Lee Jae-myung returned to Korea on the 24th after a two-day visit to Japan and departed for Washington, U.S., for the Korea-U.S. summit.
On the same day, President Lee departed through Haneda Airport in Tokyo. He arrived in Washington, D.C., on the afternoon of the 24th (local time) and will continue his schedule with a dinner meeting with the Korean-American community.
The summit with President Donald Trump will take place on the morning of the 25th (local time), which will be early morning on the 26th in Korea.
Afterward, President Lee is scheduled to meet with figures from the economy and academia, and then move to Philadelphia on the 26th to inspect the Hanwha shipyard. He will conclude his trip to Japan and the U.S. by departing from Philadelphia and arriving in Seoul in the early morning on the 28th.
