President Lee Jae-myung said on the 3rd regarding the U.S.-South Korea tariff negotiations, "It is clear that it is not very easy. It is also difficult to affirm whether it can be concluded by July 8."
On this day, President Lee held a press conference marking 30 days since his inauguration at the Cheong Wa Dae guesthouse, where he stated, "Tariff negotiations are a difficult subject to discuss, both from a security perspective and because discussing them can have an impact."
President Lee further noted, "We need to create a mutually beneficial outcome for both parties, but the exact wishes of both sides are not yet clearly organized."
He added, "We are continuing our efforts and are discovering many of our themes in various areas. We will do our best."
