Prime Minister nominee Kim Min-seok said on the 17th, "I will check whether personnel and organizational management in each department is efficient, down to the level of each government Commissioner."
On that day, Kim said during a report on social ministry tasks held at the Financial Supervisory Service training center in Tongui-dong, Seoul, "I will check the current issues in the fields of diplomacy, security, society, and welfare."
Through the report, he noted, "I will review the response strategy of all departments to recover the national dignity damaged by civil unrest and check the response situation to the Middle East crisis."
He added, "Viewing the future from the perspective of the vulnerable is administration," and "We need to urgently check to ensure that the vulnerable do not suffer more from the rainy season and heat wave."
Additionally, he stated, "There was a directive from the president that there should be no harm to the safety of the people due to North Korean leaflets," and "I will check what kind of considerations are being made across all departments in response to this request for a comprehensive response plan."
