Reform Party presidential candidate Lee Jun-seok noted on the 1st, "The data center based on renewable energy mentioned by Democratic Party of Korea presidential candidate Lee Jae-myung would seem absurd to those in the industry."
Lee Jun-seok mentioned this in the morning on Facebook, referring to Jensen Huang, NVIDIA's CEO, a Taiwanese-American entrepreneur, who publicly urged the Taiwanese government to reconsider its nuclear phase-out policy.
On the 21st, Jensen Huang stated during a lecture in Taiwan, "Taiwan must invest in nuclear power," noting, "The biggest challenge for the AI industry in the next decade will be energy. Just as life cannot grow without sunlight, the AI industry cannot exist without energy."
Lee Jun-seok remarked, "As Lee Jae-myung talks about 'Jambidia' (Lee Jae-myung + NVIDIA) and references the sharp insights of NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang, who would want to invest in Korea while observing someone who touts unstable AI data centers and semiconductor production lines?"
