Lee Jun-seok, the presidential candidate of the Reform Party, officially entered the political communication platform "Youth's Dream" created by Hong Joon-pyo and began online communication with voters in their 20s and 30s.
On the 27th, candidate Lee posted the first message on "Seokmun Cheongdap" (Lee Jun-seok asks, and the youth answer), one of the dedicated boards for presidential candidates set up by "Youth's Dream" ahead of the 21st presidential election, marking the start of his official activities.
"Youth's Dream" is an online political platform established in November 2021 by former Daegu Mayor Hong Joon-pyo for direct communication with the younger generation.
It was designed to allow young voters to freely communicate with politicians, regardless of party or political inclination, featuring real-time discussions and a bulletin board-centered interactive communication structure. Since its launch, it has enjoyed high participation from young people.
In light of this presidential election, "Youth's Dream" has created dedicated boards for each presidential candidate. Individual spaces named "Cheongmun Myungdap", "Cheongmun Soodap", and "Cheongmun Seokdap" have been set up based on the names of candidates Lee Jae-myung (Democratic Party of Korea), Kim Moon-soo (People Power Party), and Lee Jun-seok (Reform Party), along with interactive communication boards such as "Myungmun Cheongdap", "Soomun Cheongdap", and "Seokmun Cheongdap", where candidates ask questions to the youth.
Candidate Lee Jun-seok is the only one among them who directly posts messages, stating, "I hope this becomes a space for mutual communication where you answer my questions, and I answer yours. During election season, I grip the microphone in the daytime and respond to comments at night, but whenever I find time, I will stop by here and share my sincere thoughts."
He also asked the youth a question as his first inquiry: "What do you think is the most important factor for the younger generation that aspires for the future in this presidential election? Are there any topics you hope are covered in today's TV debate?"
