The massage device brand "Pulio" announced on the 26th that it will conduct a voluntary recall of 80,000 units of the neck and shoulder massager "V2". This is due to concerns that the hard and angular design of the lower massage ball could cause abrasions during the massage process.
According to the National Institute of Technology and Standards under the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, the recalled products are those manufactured by Pulio between December last year and January this year. If the first eight characters of the product serial number attached to the massage device's consolidation strap fall between N002-0101 and N002-0104, they are subject to the recall. Pulio will exchange them for free with improved products featuring a better massage ball.
The National Institute of Technology and Standards urged consumers who have the affected products to stop using them and apply for an exchange through the Pulio customer center or website. The recalled products can also be checked through the Product Safety Information Center.
