It is not appropriate to appear to be falling behind," and added, "The first TV debate is on the 18th, so it is appropriate to make a decision on the departure before that, and considering the timing, today might be right."
He also anticipated, "(Pro-Yoon Seok-yeol) Congressman Yoon Sang-hyun has returned to Kim Moon-soo's campaign camp," and stated, "Today is the perfect timing."
Earlier, Kim Yong-tae, Chairperson of the People Power Party's Emergency Response Committee, had announced, "I will ensure that reasonable judgments aligned with the people's common sense are made," and noted that upon his official appointment as Chairperson on the 15th, he would express his stance on the impeachment resignation and his relationship with former President Yoon.
