The People Power Party has announced plans to expand and reorganize its 'National Siren Center' in response to the Democratic Party of Korea's 'Democratic Patrol Station' and 'Democratic Fire Station.'
Kim Moon-soo, the candidate from the People Power Party, who is in charge of the National Siren Center within the campaign headquarters, held a press conference in the National Assembly this afternoon and noted, "It is clear that the oppressive behavior of Lee Jae-myung's forces will intensify in the future," adding that "to protect the freedom of the people and the media, we resolved to significantly expand and strengthen the functions of the National Siren Center."
The center head said, "The large opposition party, the Democratic Party of Korea, has been abusing its legislative power, solely obsessed with 'making Lee Jae-myung a dictator,' and has repeatedly engaged in brazen acts that obscure the public's eyes and ears and suppress freedom by creating ridiculous surveillance organizations like 'Democratic Patrol Station,' conducting Kakaotalk censorship, and silencing the media."
He continued, "The 'Democratic Patrol Station,' 'Democratic Fire Station,' and other agencies are disguising themselves as state institutions to monitor and control the public; the 'Lee Jae-myung dictatorship forces' do not hide their intention to seize control of the judiciary. If this is left unchecked, many citizens will suffer actual 'political retaliation.'"
He stated, "In fact, the 'Lee Jae-myung dictatorship forces' reported former journalist Seong-myeong Su just for raising suspicions related to the candidate's father," adding that "the National Siren Center has selected Seong-myeong Su as the 'first defendant of Lee Jae-myung's gag order' and provided legal support."
The center head noted, "As forces supporting Lee Jae-myung gain traction, groups such as the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions and the Korean Federation of Teachers' Associations are joining them, and the entire leftist camp is applying pressure on all fronts. The National Siren Center will provide counseling and legal support to all citizens who have been illegally and unjustly victimized not only by the 'Lee Jae-myung dictatorship forces' but also by totalitarian leftist forces."
He stated, "The National Siren Center is building a dense organization at the level of cities and provinces, and you can conveniently request our assistance via social media (SNS) anytime and anywhere," adding that "depending on the case, we also plan to provide detailed guidance on the process of filing a complaint with the Press Arbitration Commission and connections to legal counsel."
