The survey was conducted by sending ARS questions to party members in two rounds for a total of 12 hours from 9 a.m. on that day. The survey targeted 758,801 individuals, which corresponds to the third primary election voter group.
There were two questions.

A total of 33.8% (256,549 individuals) of the entire survey target responded, with ▲82.82% (212,477 individuals) indicating that unification is necessary and ▲17.18% (44,072 individuals) stating that it is not.
The second agenda item was, 'When do you think would be the best timing for unification?'
A total of 210,206 individuals responded to the agenda item. ▲86.7% (182,256 individuals) said it should be done before candidate registration, while ▲13.3% (27,950 individuals) indicated that it can be done after candidate registration.
Shin, the chief spokesperson, noted, 'More than 80% of party members participating in the primary voting responded that unification is necessary and stated that it should be done before candidate registration,' and added, 'The will of the party members is the most important. I believe this will be our guideline for action.'
He emphasized, 'We will first discuss the survey results and how to understand and interpret them during the parliamentary meeting,' adding, 'There is a very strong demand for unification from various sources.'
On that day, the People Power Party's standing advisory group began a hunger strike demanding unification, and Kweon Seong-dong, the floor leader, also commenced a hunger strike.
