Acting Prime Minister Han Duck-soo said on the 30th, "We will boldly improve unreasonable regulations affecting (small and medium enterprises)".
Acting Prime Minister Han attended a "Field Communication Meeting for Innovation in Small and Medium Enterprises Regulations" held by the Korea Federation of Small and Medium Enterprises in Yeouido, Seoul, where he listened to the management difficulties faced by corporations and made this statement.
Acting Prime Minister Han noted, "Small and medium enterprises are the real protagonists of our economy" and added, "I will ensure that the suggestions from the field are reflected in reasonable institutional improvements."
The government plans to actively push for related institutional improvements and legal adjustments by thoroughly reviewing the issues submitted from the field.
A Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) official stated, "We will continue to communicate with small and medium enterprises in the future" and "We plan to work hard to create an environment where corporations can invest and grow freely."
