Representative Na Kyung-won, who participated in the People Power Party's presidential primary, declared her support for Kim Moon-soo.
Representative Na noted in a text message to People Power Party members on the 30th, "Now our party must move toward unity, not division," and explained, "Kim Moon-soo is a candidate who can uphold the values and principles of conservatism while encompassing diverse opinions both inside and outside the party."
Na continued, "In particular, keeping the possibility of cooperation with Prime Minister Han Duck-soo open, he is a person who can address the two tasks of stabilizing governance and unifying the party," and requested, "The future of the party and the existence of South Korea depend on your choice. Please join us with Kim Moon-soo for a victory in the presidential election."
Candidate Kim passed the second round of the primary against candidate Han Dong-hoon the previous day. The People Power Party plans to elect a final candidate at the convention to be held on the 3rd of next month at KINTEX in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province.
